What you need:

  • 1.5 lbs asparagus, washed
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 2 t lemon juice
  • 1/4 t garlic salt
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 t red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 t sugar

What you do:

  • Trim 1/2 inch off asparagus stalks.  Steam asparagus for 10
    minutes, or until tender but not soggy.  In a small bowl, combine
    remaining ingredients and mix.  Pour mixture over asparagus
    and serve.
