What you need:

  • 14-16 oz package smoked sausage or kielbasa sausage
  • 6-8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 14.5 oz can cut green beans, drained
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3-4 T butter
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

What you do:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet.  Add onion, potatoes, salt and
    pepper and cook over low to medium heat until potatoes are
    slightly tender.  
  • Slice sausage in half lengthwise, then slice into 1/4 inch pieces.  
    Add sausage and green beans to skillet and cook over medium
    heat until potatoes are browned and tender and meal is heated
    through.
