What you need:

  • 1/4 c lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/8 t black pepper
  • 1 t cumin
  • 11/2 t chili powder
  • 1/4 t red pepper flakes

What you do:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large ziploc bag.  Add 1-2 lbs of
    beef, chicken or shrimp and shake to coat.  Refrigerate for at
    least 8 hours, shaking to coat occasionally.  
  • Use whole chicken breast or steak for grilling purposes and slice
    after cooking.
