Paleo Fruit Shake Recipes

Paleo cow's milk alternatives are almond and coconut milks. Paleo shakes are cow's milk free, dairy free and lactose free. Almond milk and coconut milk contain calcium. Unlike cow's milk almond milk contains unsaturated fats. Per one cup almond milk is 60-90 calories. The orthodox Paleo diets doe not allow raw honey or agave nectar. Stevia is a natural Paleo friendly sweetener. My personal preference is raw honey or agave nectar. Not 100% Paleo but delicious. Paleo Banana Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 to 1.5 cup peeled and sliced ripe bananas

- 1 cup ice (8 ice cubes)

- 2 cups almond milk or coconut milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (preservative free)

- 1 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon to taste

- Raw honey or agave to taste (optional)

Preparation

-Put bananas blender. Add ice cubes, vanilla & milk.

Optional raw honey or agave.

- Blend all ingredients in blender.

Serve

Make 2 cups

Paleo Strawberry Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

-1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries

-1 cup ice (8 ice cubes)

- 2 cups almond milk or coconut milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (preservative free)

- Raw honey or agave to taste (optional)

Preparation:

- Put strawberries in blender. Add ice cubes, vanilla & milk.

Optional raw honey or agave.

- Add additional milk

Make 2 cups

Paleo Pineapple Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 cup fresh or frozen cubed pineapple

- 1 cup ice (8 ice cubes)

- 2 cups almond milk or coconut milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (preservative free)

- 1 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon to taste

- Raw honey or agave to taste (optional)

Preparation

-Put pineapple in blender. Add ice cubes, vanilla & milk.

Optional raw honey or agave.

- Blend all ingredients in blender.

Serve

Make 3-4 cups

Paleo Coconut Shake

Coconut Milk is a good cow's milk alternative. Coconut milk is a saturated fat. Low carb milk contains calcium and a host of vitamins and minerals. No animal fats.

Ingredients

- 4tbs coconut meat

- 2 tbs cashew, coconut or almond butter

- 1 cup coconut milk

- 2 ripe bananas peeled

- 2 tbs fresh mint

- 2 tbs honey (optional honey not allowed in Orthodox Paleo Diet)

- 5 ice cubes

Instructions

- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high speed for 30seconds.

- Serve and Top off with fresh mint leaves
