What you need:

  • 1.5 lbs round steak, cut in strips
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t dried oregano
  • 1/2 t red pepper flakes
  • 2 T + 2T olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

What you do:

  • Heat 2 T olive oil in a large skillet.  Add steak, Worcestershire
    sauce, salt and pepper and cook over med high heat until beef
    is browned.
  • Set aside steak and add 2 T olive oil to skillet.  Heat oil and add
    all remaining ingredients to pan.  Cook over med heat until
    vegetables are browned and tender, stirring often.  Add steak to
    skillet, stir, and cook on low until heated through.
