What you need:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 5 c cabbage, chopped
  • 2 (15 oz) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 14 oz can vegetable broth
  • 14 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 5 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 t beef bouillon granules
  • 1 t ground cumin
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • salt to taste

What you do:

  • Brown turkey with onion; drain any fat.  Place in crock pot and add
    remaining ingredients except cabbage.  Mix well.  Cover and cook
    on low for 3 hours.  Stir in cabbage and cook for another 3 - 4
    hours.
