What you need:
- 2 lbs round steak, trimmed of excess fat and cut into serving size
pieces
- 1 c uncooked rice
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c water
- 2 t beef bouillon granules
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1/8 t black pepper
What you do:
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Add steak to skillet and cook only until
browned on both sides. Add steak and remaining ingredients to a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot and mix. Cook, covered, for 6-7 hours on low, or until rice is tender but not mushy.
