What you need:

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1/2 c onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 2 T cooking sherry
  • 1 t salt
  • dash black pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper

What you do:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet.  Add chicken livers, onion and garlic
    and saute for 10 minutes, or until chicken livers are cooked
    through.  Combine chicken livers, onion and remaining
    ingredients in a blender and blend until well mixed.  Form mixture
    into a loaf and refrigerate for 1 hour.  Serve with crackers
