What you need:
- 4-5 pork chops
- 10.75 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c cheddar cheese
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1.5 c sliced carrots
- 1.5 c sliced celery
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 c milk
- 2 T olive oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
What you do:
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Salt and pepper pork chops. Add pork
chops to skillet and cook until lightly browned on both sides; set aside.
- Place potatoes and onions on the bottom of a 3.5 quart or larger
crock pot slow cooker. Top with cheese. Add celery and carrots to crock pot. Place pork chops on top of vegetables. Combine milk, garlic and mushroom soup in a small bowl. Pour soup mixture over pork chops. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until pork is done and vegetables are tender.
