What you need:
- 2 lbs round steak cut in strips
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 3 T brown sugar
- 11/2 T vinegar (white)
- 3 t Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 t salt
- 1/8 t black pepper
- cooked rice
What you do:
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Brown beef in hot oil; drain. Add beef
and remaining ingredients except the rice into the crock-pot and mix. Cook, covered, for 6-7 hours on low. Serve over hot rice.
